Project partners SPEA (Sociedade Portuguesa para o Estudo das Aves) hosted an online workshop with the aim to ‘Train the Trainers’ that will engage the fishing community on bycatch. As a threat to seabirds, bycatch is an important issue to address, and it is only through working with the fishers’ community and finding solutions together that impact will be achieved. The training was attended by project partners and other external entities who work in the sector of fisheries engagement and research.
