Invasive Species Management (ISM)

Eradication and control are the most common and effective conservation tools for invasive species management (ISM).
Various ISM efforts have been implemented in the Mediterranean for the safeguarding of Yelkouan and Balearic shearwater populations, and through the LIFE PanPuffinus! project, a map of the ISM efforts has been compiled.
Each point on the map provides brief information about the ISM activity, and the contact details of the project focal point for any questions.
To complement this map, data collected has been compiled in a review report on the ISM efforts across the Mediterranean for Yelkouan and Balearic shearwater, and provides a comparative and comprehensive overview of such activities.
