LPO celebrates European Maritime Day 2022

For European Maritime Day 2022 and for the 30th anniversary of the LIFE programme, French project partner LPO led an activity at one of France’s Atlantic islands, Ile de Ré. Visitors from around Europe flock to the island each summer to enjoy the sea, open space and proximity to nature. The 21st May was no exception, with visitors from across France and Germany participating in an activity to observer nesting Yellow-legged Gulls. Ile de Ré hosts more than 100 species of birds, including seabirds. Read more by clicking on the title and here.
