BirdLife Malta has launched Malta’s first permanent seabird conservation exhibition in collaboration with Il-Majjistral Nature and History Park.
The exhibition is part of the LIFE PanPuffinus! project, which works to protect seabirds and their habitats across the Mediterranean.
During the launch, St. Paul’s Bay and Msida Scouts enjoyed an educational talk, seabird quiz, and a fun board game competition.
All participants received comic books, board games and project mugs to take home, promoting awareness of seabird conservation.
The interactive exhibition gives visitors a chance to learn about Malta’s unique seabird species and the threats they face.
It also highlights the importance of protecting natural areas like cliffs and coasts, where seabirds such as the Yelkouan Shearwater breed.
Open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 15:00, the centre welcomes all, while park trails remain open 24/7 for everyone to enjoy.
