Over summer 2024, we organised our annual shearwater boat trips, an event which our stakeholders and the public eagerly await! This year we had the pleasure of once again, witnessing the rafting of shearwaters close to their colonies, gathering in the hundreds after spending a day out at sea. Apart from four trips for the general public, we also organised a trip for LIFE PanPuffinus! stakeholders, and also an exclusive trip for the BirdLife Malta Kids Birding Club. All trips were fully-booked. Our ongoing LIFE PanPuffinus! project provides an opportunity for the public to see these birds and enjoy this special moment in nature, and to learn more about them in this educational activity.
