4-7 September, 2021Visitors to the IUCN Congress in Marseille (France) visited the stall on seabird bycatch to learn about this threat to seabirds through a photo exhibit, informative panels and a board game on seabirds.

6-7 August, 2021On the first weekend of August we held our sunset shearwater boat trips for 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we only held two trips and to celebrate the launch of LIFE PanPuffinus! this year we offered the trips for free to our members.
24 July, 2021At the end of July we once again reiterated our call on the public to keep an eye out for stranded Yelkouan Shearwaters, which once grounded on land will not be able to make their own way back out at sea.
8 July, 2021The first six stranded Yelkouan Shearwaters of the season were recovered by BirdLife Malta during the first days of July, which marked the peak period when the fledglings leave their colonies on their first flight, sometimes getting disorientated due to light pollution ending up stranded on land.
